“Having been raised in a lower-middle-class, close, loving family, I was fortunate to be educated in Computer Science at IIT (Powai), thanks to my mother. It greatly impacted my professional life, and I can lead life today that I had not dreamt of as a child. Hence, I need to give back to society, mainly focusing on girls’ education. To Quote Nelson Mandela Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world. When you educate a girl, you educate a family. However, many girls, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, face numerous barriers to education, including poverty, cultural norms, and gender discrimination. The beautiful thing about education is no one can take it away from you. We established the Aatmaja (Meaning my daughter) foundation with that belief. We want to assist our daughters to pursue their aspirations and find their rightful place in the society.

While we make our efforts, it is crucial to recognize the immense need to support education in various ways across the country. I am committed to playing my small part in this. Additionally, I am eager to be part of an active community, particularly one that is dedicated to causes such as the Environment, Women’s Empowerment, and Animal welfare..”
