Solving for unemployment
I’m signing up for #LivingMyPromise because it feels like the right thing to do. I’ve been lucky enough in life to realise that I’ve had support systems many others don’t. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with young people, vulnerable communities, and causes that remind me daily how uneven the playing field really is.
If I can enable a few more lives—human or animal—to live with dignity, hope, or even just a fighting chance, then this promise is not charity. Its just a selfish means to do what will make me happy. This promise is formalizing what I’ve always believed in – help where I can, give when I can, and in return, get instant gratification.
Also, I want my son to grow up in a world where sharing what you have isn’t performative—it’s just what you do as a way of living a happy life.
