Dolphin Tank, #LivingMyPromise’s Annual Giving Event, started in 2021. This is a “Shark Tank” format event to support young NGO startups as part of #LivingMyPromise‘s #DaanUtsav celebrations. Dolphins referred here are the #LivingMyPromise signatories – individuals who have committed to giving 50+% of their wealth towards philanthropic causes either in their lifetime or wills. Dolphins are wiser than sharks and also kinder, hence the name.
LMP has conducted 3 seasons of the Dolphin Tank till date and 55 NGOs have got the opportunity to showcase their work. Many noteworthy success stories have emerged from this honest initiative. It has allowed many small organizations come to light with their groundbreaking work and benefit from the generosity of the community who have gone above and beyond monetary donations by investing their time and expertise as well. Dolphins are wiser than sharks and also kinder, hence the name!
